Merchant Services Business Insight Analyst

An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cards/Merchant Services Business Insight Analyst to join our client's Corporate Banking team in London.

Key responsibilities of the Business Insight Analyst will include:
-Undertake strategic analysis of the market for both card acquiring (merchant services) and card issuing (corporate cards).
- Identifying and interview key stakeholders and customers to understand posential sales streams
- Delivering Data from interviews and research into Excel and presenting findings to managers
- Providing research of the market to deliver an in-depth understanding of the Transaction Banking Cards business, its strategic direction and priorities. This will include reviewing the current position, including:
- Undertake research and analysis to inform strategic planning and support specific initiatives.

The successful Merchant Services Business Insight Analyst will possess the following attributes/skills:
- Prior expertise within Merchant services and corporate cards
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Highly numerate, with the ability to apply financial analysis to commercial issues, and with good skills in financial modelling
- Strong commercial awareness
