Megasys Technician Job

MEGASYS TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Austin, Texas.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Mechanical aptitude.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to work rotating shifts.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Develop a functional proficiency for site equipment, which includes chemical, slurry, and gas delivery systems.
- Perform container changes of gas and chemicals (bottles, drums, totes, bulk tankers).
- Hazardous material handling - bulk gas and chemical receiving and will include basic operation for liquid transfer set up. Liquid transfer could include assisting in offloading chemical products from tanker to on-site storage tanks.
- Perform non invasive preventative maintenance using documented procedures.
- Update electronic equipment logs.
- On the job training will allow the technician to develop fundamental knowledge to assist with technical support, which includes equipment troubleshooting and system adjustments.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and hands-on technical and/or electronics experience preferred.
- Must be a strong team player and willing to work rotating shifts, on-call schedule, holidays, weekends or off shifts.
- Willing to perform physical labor which is generally associated with cylinder and drum movements.
- Occasional lifting and carrying 25-50 lbs, frequent movements like bending, stooping, squatting, reaching above shoulders, pushing & pulling, exposure to changes in temperature/humidity and wearing protective equipment like respirator & ear plugs.
- Forklift experience preferred.
