MEGASYS TECHNICIAN needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Austin, TX.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The MEGASYS® Technician will work on 12 hour shift without supervision, acquire a fundamental knowledge of Specialty Gas and Chemical Products and must develop a functional proficiency in the operation of all Specialty Gas and Chemical Delivery Systems and equipment.
- The primary focus of work is focused on material handling and material logistics.
- Ordering, receiving, inspection, delivering, pickup and recycle are all aspects of the position.
- The position can grow into technical support. On the job training will allow the technician to develop fundamental knowledge which will allow appropriate responses to abnormal conditions by performing minor troubleshooting and system adjustments, while using appropriate notification and escalation procedures.
- The technician will typically perform non-invasive preventive maintenance, some invasive maintenance and update equipment logs.
- May be required to drive automotive equipment/operate a forklift.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and hands-on technical and/or electronics experience preferred.
- Must be a strong team player and willing to work rotating shifts, on-call schedule, holidays, weekends or off shifts.
- Willing to perform physical labor which is generally associated with cylinder and drum movements.
- A Fit for Duty Evaluation will be required: lifting and carrying 25-50 lbs, perform movements like bending, stooping, squatting, reaching above shoulders, pushing and pulling, exposure to changes in temperature/humidity and possibly wearing protective equipment like respirator and ear plugs.
