JOB DESCRIPTION

My client needs a Java Development Engineer to work on a payment system for a major bank. You will be developing and maintaining applications, working on the realisation of a challenging roadmap which will oversee large changes for the bank in the coming years. You will be responsible for a variety of Java applications at different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.

This is a chance to work in a proactive team of talented Java developers based in the centre of Utrecht.

KEY SKILLS

- Proven experience developing using Java
- Strong Front End knowledge (Jquery, AngularJS, HTML5)
- Skilled in working with web services (SOAP, REST)
- Strong knowledge of Spring Frameworks (Spring MVC, Spring Batch)
- OpenJPA, Hibernate
- Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, GIT
- Free marker template
- Experience setting up automated tests
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Excellent English
- Preferable experience with Jira
