Medical Workforce Lead/Medical Staffing Manager (HR)

We currently have an opportunity with one of our long-standing NHS clients for an experienced Medical Workforce/Staffing Manager to work in a newly re-structured HR team, supporting culture change and embedding HR best practice for medical workforce.

The key focus is to provide a high quality HR service within this area, working closely with divisional Managers, HR Business Partners and Clinicians to resolve HR and recruitment issues and provide solutions. As part of this you will use you previous experience within a similar role in the NHS to provide expert advice regarding the employment of medical staff to directors and managers and also be responsible for taking the lead on medical workforce projects relevant to the Workforce Transformation Programme. Other areas of focus will be Junior Doctor Rota compliance and supporting job planning.

The skills and experience we are looking for are:

Essential
* CIPD qualified
* A solid understanding of the NHS
* In depth medical staffing experience, ideally including rota design,job planning and medical workforce efficiencies
* In depth HR Management in a clinical setting
* Up to date employment law
* Knowledge of New Deal
* Flexible/can-do attitude

Desirable
* Prince2
