Medical Technician Job

MEDICAL TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in MIAMI, FL.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Must have working knowledge with blood handling procedures and work experience in a hospital or laboratory environment.
- Must be proficient with MS Office specially Word and Excel.
- Experienced in handling and troubleshooting laboratory instruments.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Operation of hematology equipment and associated medical devices.
- Blood Born Pathogen training and knowledge of blood handling procedures.
- Read, understand and follow company and department standard operating procedures.
- Adhere to policies and procedures to reflect operations; ensure FDA, ISO and related regulatory requirements are consistently met.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum of two (2) year degree or equivalent.
- At least one to two (1-2) years of experience working in a hospital or laboratory environment.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Certified Medical Technologist
- Certified Phlebotomist
- Experience in Serology
