IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Develop and implement adequate processes and systems for systematic Medical Affairs (MA) strategy planning, tracking and reporting; provide regular training to associates
-Coordinate the annual Medical Affairs plan preparation and updates, including early Medical launch preparation, in alignment with New Product Planning (NPP), Integrated Product Strategy (IPS), Integrated Launch Readiness (iLR) and Brand Reviews
-Assess MA competencies and capabilities, set up appropriate training activities. This includes compliance to internal Novartis requirements
-Improve current systems to provide timely and relevant medical/scientific insights (including competitive intelligence) across the CPO/WEC and Region; ensure that relevant insights from WEC/Region are also shared within the CPO
-Coordinate CPO/Cluster/Regional alignment with respect to strategies and best-practice import/export
-Develop standardised processes/tools to enhance Medical and Science Liaison (MSL) performance and harmonise practices across therapeutic areas (TAs); provide training and updates on these processes/tools
-Analyse MSL activity data from internal systems, and provide monthly reports
-Enhance MSL performance through evaluation of MSL interactions (e.g. double visit, coaching) and their local activity plans (e.g. Medical Expert engagement plans)

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Education: MSc, business or commercial degree
-English is a must. Native or near native speaker in German or French, with a very good knowledge (written, oral) of the other language
-Profound experience in Pharmaceutical industry working in Medical Affairs strategic operations or a Commercial function
-Successful experience as MSL is a plus
-Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex information in simple and impactful messages
-Business planning and execution monitoring (development of business reports or dashboards)
-Excellent project management skills
-Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
