For our Client in ROTKREUZ, we are looking for a MEDICAL OPERATION MANAGER, for a 6 MONTHS contract.

Duration: 25.06.2018 - 21.12.2018

Location Rotkreuz

Workload: 80% - 100%

Job Purpose:
The Medical Operations Manager develops, improves and implements processesprovide regular training to associates.

- Coordinate the annual Medical Affairs plan preparation and updates, including early Medical launch preparation, in alignment with New Product Planning (NPP), Integrated Product Strategy (IPS), Integrated Launch Readiness (iLR) and Brand Reviews.
- Facilitate progress tracking of MA plans and provide monthly status reports. Provide relevant analysis (forecasts, performance) as needed.
- Assess MA competencies and capabilites, set up appropriate training activities. This includes compliance to internal company's requirements.
- Identify gaps in MA operational performance and drives the development of solutions to enhance effectiveness and efficiency, including resource allocation.
- Improve current systems to provide timely and relevant medical/scientific insights (including competitive intelligence) across the CPO/WEC and Region; ensure that relevant insights from WEC/Region are also shared within the CPO.
- Coordinate CPO/Cluster/Regional alignment with respect to strategies and best-practice import/export.

Field Medical Effectiveness (50%):

- Develop standardised processes/tools to enhance Medical and Science Liaison (MSL) performance and harmonise practices across TAs; provide training and updates on these processes/tools.
- Analyse MSL activity data from internal systems, and provide monthly reports.
- Improve systems to better understand the effectiveness and efficiency of MSL activities.
- Enhance MSL performance through evaluation of MSL interactions (eg double visit, coaching) and their local activity plans (eg Medical Expert engagement plans).
- MSL competency and capability building: organise on-boarding plans and ongoing trainings.
- Leverage company's and industry better practices; main point of contact for WEC/Region/Global FME stakeholders.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- To be obligated to report any Adverse Event or Technical Quality Complaint within 24h from the receipt to the DS
- Excellent project management skills
- Engages in active problem-solving and driving issues to resolution
- Capability to work on multiple projects and meet deliverable timeline

Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication and influencing skills. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas, data, and concepts, while adjusting one's style based upon the audience
- Proven lateral leadership to achieve high performance
- Build strong internal and external relationships with diverse stakeholders that maximize alignment and organizational effectiveness
