Medical Information Manager (R.Ph. or R.N) Job

MANAGER MEDICAL INFORMATION (R.PH. OR R.N) needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Frazer, PA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- R.PH OR RN
- Medical Information experience
- Scientific expertise in assigned therapeutic area

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Manage medical information and communication for assigned products marketed
- Collaborate with other Medical Affairs colleagues and work closely with key members of internal departments
- Develop and maintain a library of standard medical response documents
- Provide direction on handling of unsolicited requests for medical information and serve as a mentor to other staff members, including external Medical Information Call Center agents
- Respond verbally to inquiries from healthcare professionals and consumers
- Manage daily activities of and train external medical information vendor(s
- Provide strategic input and support to the Integrated Medical Team(s) and Medical Affairs Plan(s) for assigned products
- Assist with review of product labeling and/or monographs for inclusion in compendia
- Provide input on development, review, and revision of product labeling
- Assist with development, review and/or maintenance of product and disease-related slide kits in collaboration with other Medical Affairs personnel
- Review of all materials used in promotion
- Provide medical support for Marketing and Sales Training departments
- Provide medical information support at medical/scientific conferences
- Prepare and participate in medical and scientific presentations for internal
- Assist in the overall development and management of the department
- Demonstrate independence and initiative to develop and implement solutions

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- R.Ph. or R.N. with three (3) or more years of experience in medical information
- M.S., Pharm.D., Ph.D. with one (1) or more years of experience in medical information
- Scientific expertise in assigned therapeutic area
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills are essential
- Adequate knowledge and experience with computer programs and database systems

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- R.Ph. or R.N
- Medical Information experience.
- Experience with review of promotional materials is preferred
- Experience with labeling and managed care organizations are a plus
