MEDICAL INFORMATION MANAGER

SURREY

12 MONTH CONTRACT

£350 - £375 PER DAY

MEDICAL INFORMATION MANAGER required to join amarket leaderwithin the pharmaceutical sector. This will be on a 12 month contract basis. The successful individual will manage a team of senior medical information officers top provide a high quality service for the UK and Ireland. The service will include enquiry handling, medico-marketing support and product information maintenance.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- An experienced line manager
- Experience of working in a senior medical information position
- Pharmaceutical industry background
- Proven ability to provide internal and external customer support
- An understanding of the NHS, government policy and regulatory requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- People management - Management of (Senior) Medical Information Officers. Providing training and development.
- Enquiry handling - Provide verbal and written information in response to technical enquiries
- Internal customer support - Maintain an active interface with internal customers, ensure services are provided, participate in project team activities and provide feedback.
- Maintenance of information resources - Liaise with external information providers such as BNF and MIMS
- Identification of adverse reaction/quality complaints
