Medical Director (MD) CNS / Neurology

Medical Director: CNS / Neurology. Biopharma :

Based in a growing Cambridge location my client is in search of an experienced Medical Director with a strong background in CNS / Neurology.

Your role will be primarily to grow the clinical group and although reporting to the head of clinical development the clinical group will be handed off to you to run with minimal supervision

Your role will provide leadership, across multiple clinical trials and studies that are coming out of Phase I in to II & III however also enhancing pre-clinical activities.

Responsibilities will include: Managing scientific trial issues, managing safety teams and monitoring and providing clinical leadership.

Excellent communication skills are required as you will be interacting with business stakeholders and physicians and other investors (scientific and financial)

The ability to work with both clinical and non clinical departments is essential, being able to facilitate exchanges between the clinical group and scientific preclinical teams. Ensuring compounds are properly transitioned from preclinical to first human studies.
