Medical Assistant Job

MEDICAL ASSISTANT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Francisco, CA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Experience in Occupational Health or Workers' Compensation

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Assist Nurse Manager in management of workers' compensation claims
- Provide basic triage for injured employees, including obtaining obtain vitals
- Schedule physician, diagnostic and therapy appointments
- Data entry of treatment requests and physician referrals
- Provide administrative support as needed

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Completion of Medical Assistant program
- Current CPR certification
- Two - three (2 - 3) years of experience working in a health care setting
- Knowledge of workers' compensation highly preferred
- High level of organizational skills
- Strong communication skills; Fluency in Spanish or Chinese a plus
