Medical Assistant Job

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MEDICAL ASSISTANT (MA) needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in MANHATTAN, NY.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Occupational Health MA
- Greet employees upon entrance, and intake initial medical history
- Schedule appointments and make follow up calls

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- This will be a 2 week assignment, hours will be from 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday.
- Best qualified candidate will be able to greet and input any pertinent medical information into database
- Also, be able to assist with obtaining vitals and medical history and assist in exam rooms

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Best qualified candidate will have two to three (2-3) years experience dealing with fast paced work environment, accurately checking in and entering patient information.
- Also be able to draw blood, recognize various instruments used for procedures, maintains inventory and re-stocks supplies.
- Furthermore, that candidate will understand the aspects of managing the scheduling for appointments and follow up scheduling as needed.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Perform blood draws
- CMA or RMA
- CPR Certified
