Medical Assistant Job

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MEDICAL ASSISTANT (MA) needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Cambridge, MA. This is a contract position which may become a Full Time role, circumstances permitting and not to be identified for time period less than 3 months.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- Patient work up for the provider, assist with Well-Woman Exams and I&D procedures and document using Electronic Medical Record

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Best qualified candidate will be able to obtain vital signs, perform EKG's, provide injections/venipunture, process labs to send out, finger sticks and ear irrigations
- Also, be able to assist record keeping for CLIA waived testing and quality controls

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Best qualified candidate will have two to three (2-3) years of experience dealing with fast paced work environment, handling a large amount of testing, procedures and EMR work.
- Furthermore, that candidate will understand the aspects of accurately entering detailed, personal information.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Internal medicine/OB/GYN experience preferred
- CMA or RMA
- EMR experience preferred
- Strong venipuncture skills
- CPR Certified
