Medical Assistant Job

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MEDICAL ASSISTANT (MA) needed for a PART TIME CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Reading, PA. THIS POSITION REQUIRES A COMMITMENT OF 2-3 DAYS A WEEK.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Greet and input any pertinent medical information into database
- Assist with updating all medical records, completing documentation on all patients.
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment, scheduling appointments accurately and keeping all necessary instruments ready and sterile.
- Take patient histories and vitals, give injections and apply dressings for wounds.
- Perform specimen collection, urine drug tests, breath alcohol tests, urinalysis, blood glucose by finger sticks, etc.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Best qualified candidate will have two to three (2-3) years of experience dealing with fast paced work environment, accurately checking in and entering patient information.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Perform blood draws
- CMA or RMA
- CPR Certified
