Introduction:

The Niagara project is delivering a new (inkjet) technology to new markets. For this project, various media types should be tested and approved/rejected with a defined procedures. These procedures will be described together with R&D and need to be transferred to other media competence centers.

Position's main tasks:

- Execute the Media Verification Process and the Media Quick Scan.
- Accurate documentation and reporting of the outcomes of the Media Verification Process and Media Quick Scan. P
- roactively indicates issues/problems during the Media Verification Process and Media Quick Scan and creates and prepares escalations
- Contact person for media for both R&D and the media competence centers (Boca Raton, Poing, EMEA-IS)

Required area of education:

- Technical background (preferably chemical and/or graphical)
- Minimal 5 years of expertise of complex printer systems
- Customer domain experience (VHV market, color and print quality expertise)

Professional skills:

- Effective problem solving abilities (media, color and print quality issues)
- Read, write and speak English

Behavioural skills:

- Very accurate and precise (as the process is error sensitive)
- Organization sensitivity Active listening/communication skills/sparring partner for both R&D and the media competence centers (Boca Raton, Poing, EMEA-IS)

Field of experience:

- Apply level print quality aspects inkjet & color vs media and procede interaction
- Expert level media aspects
