Media Relations Manager

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced media relations manager to join our PR team on a contract basis for the next three to four months, starting ASAP.

You will be responsible for managing media relations for a number of key business accounts in various sectors alongside key members of the press office team.

To be successful in this role you will be an accomplished media relations professional with proven, relevant and demonstrable experience, preferably gained within a FTSE 250 environment and/or with a PR agency servicing corporate clients. You must be a good writer with a superb command of English, able to work using your own initiative and have the ability to grasp complex and difficult issues quickly. Creativity, good organisational skills and, the ability to remain calm under pressure are also essential attributes.

Based in central London, contract until the end of January 2014 initially, salary circa £50,000 depending on experience (pro rata).
