Media Logistics Coordinator Job

MEDIA LOGISTICS COORDINATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SILVER SPRING, MD

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Three or more years' experience with post production, broadcast operations and/or log operations preferred.
- Working knowledge of post-production - such as tape formats, standards and equipment preferred.
- Experience with Gabriel, Excel and Word

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Daily operational support required for Media Logistics POD, ensuring broadcast logs are prepared, material processed through DCTC and forwarded to the origination facility for air
- Proactively reviews, reports and coordinates log information for Destination America, Velocity and OWN networks.
- Ensures correct air able versions are in PDS
- Works with Network Scheduling staff to confirm correct versions and break formats are scheduled in the log by comparing.
- Communicates daily pertinent information to the Network Scheduling, Production, NPP and Media Logistics teams
- Ensures program segment times are entered in PDS and log for final timing of the broadcast log
- Communicates with appropriate teams regarding missing segment times and erroneously dropped break formats
- Populates gaps in daily logs to provide Media Planning a "promo ready" log on a weekly and daily basis.
- Applies timing adjustments received via DDS for three networks
- Coordinates closed captioning for Velocity and Destination America by running reports to determine CC status.
- Update CC grids with live programming information
- Analyzes twice daily VITAC reports on shows needing closed caption. Remove shows from live grid and updates offline grid as needed.
- Organizes and communicates information to the captioning vendor for emergencies, rushes and exceptions. Daily status check and update of PDS and grid.
- Updates all internal systems with captioning intent.
- Responds to any Broadcast Center captioning inquiries and resolves potential conflicts.
