Mechanism designer/analyst is required to carry out dynamic and static assessment and implement changes to improve overall mechanical system performance. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of over several projects of successful design assessment, model validation and performance optimisation.
A hands-on engineer who takes complete ownership of the design and is able to use their excellent analytical skills to efficiently solve engineering problems. Prospective candidates should have a thorough understanding of the below:
Kinematics & Dynamics.
Mechanics of Solids.
Tribological effects - sliding and rolling friction analysis.
Fatigue.
In order to conduct this role successfully it is highly advantageous if the individual is competent in the use of the following software tools:
Nastran.
Patran.
ABAQUS.
Ansys.
Fatigue and ADAMS.
MATLAB, Simulink, SimMechanics.
Candidates must be willing to undergo a security vetting proceedure.
