Mechanical Tenders Engineer for Iwocs

One of the world's largest subsea service companies has tasked Progressive Global Energy with finding a Tenders Engineer to join their North Sea HQ Aberdeen office on a staff basis. The requirement for a Tenders Engineer within the IWOCS department of this company has arisen due to the increased activity in this particular department as a result of the growing reputation of the company. The purpose of the role focuses around leading and providing the full technical response to invitation to tender enquiries received from the customer base for Work Over Controls Systems. The main responsibilities of the role will include the following: * Technical support for the pursuit of new subsea projects * Reviewing and understanding client specifications for IWOCS, selecting suitable designs and producing technical information for cost generation * Supporting the commercial team in producing a viable commercial offering, understanding and mitigating risk, interfacing with project teams * Acting as a front end technical ambassador for the tender generation As a result, the successful candidate will meet the following criteria: * Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline * Chartered engineer - proven experience/track record is an acceptable substitute * Significant applied knowledge and experience of the Work Over Controls Systems and Landing String Control Systems * In depth and working knowledge of ISO 13628-6/7/API 17G * Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills * Eligible to work in the UK by way of citizenship, residency or valid Tier 1 General UK working visa If you are interested in moving out of the technical aspect of Mechanical Engineering, and broadening your horizons in the commercial aspect, please forward your latest CV to Laura Ballance at Progressive Global Energy for consideration, and call into the office for further details.
