Mechanical Technician

We have a great opportunity for a Mechanical Technician within the automotive industry for a 3 month contract

The company are a market leading engineering consultancy who offers full-systems design, test and integration expertise to automotive, defence rail and transport industries.

Daily activities would consist of:

* Vehicle assembly and installation
* End of line vehicle test & commissioning
* Powertrain maintenance and re-work
* Chassis and Suspension maintenance

Essential Qualifications/Essential Experience:

* C&G or NVQ Vehicle maintenance and repair
* Vehicle and mechanical installations
* Test and commissioning
* Electro-mechanical systems fault diagnosis and rectification
* 12V and hybrid electrical systems
* Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
* Powertrain removal/refit
* Vehicle service and repair
* Full vehicle system knowledge
* Vehicle assembly for OEM or Small batch production
