Mechanical Systems Engineer

I am currently seeking a mechanical systems engineer to work on a satellite project in Antwerp, some key information regarding the role is as follows;

Based in: Belgium

Length of Contract: 12 Months

Start date: Dec '16

Tasks:
* Be the focal technical point regarding the mechanical, structural and thermal aspects, both internally and with the customer
* Coordinate the mechanical, structural and thermal team members to come to a consolidated design
* Coordinate the interface with the electronics designers
* Make sure the design is compliant to the requirements
* Write system level documentation and reports
* Keep track of technical budgets
* Report to the project manager
* Organise internal meetings to follow up the design and to ensure the coherence between the different disciplines
* Present the design to the customer and defend the design choices
* Follow up of the procurement of the structural and thermal parts
* Organise and follow up of the integration activities
* Organisation and execution of the environmental test campaign

Experience:
5-10 years in satellites as system engineer
Experience with DOORS.
