Mechanical Project Engineer & Project Engineer

I am urgently looking for a number of Mechanical Project Engineers and Project Engineers to join a drilling contractor inAberdeenon a long term project.

You will be working on a rig upgrade renewing the BOP and control systems, instillation of new cranes, fabrication and instillations. This role will be office based until you are relocated to the shipyard.

As Mechanical Project Engineer you will report into the project manager and be responsible for reporting and supervising mechanical items during every phase of the project. You will be required to perform on-site inspections and follow up with sub-contactors and suppliers.

You will also be responsible for:

- review and verification of design and engineering drawings and documentation
- FAT
- SAT
- Reviewing commissioning
- Mechanical completion documents

It is essential you have project experience and experience working in a similar field.

As the Project Engineer you will be required to provide support to the Project Manager, perform studies and evaluations and assist in the day to day running of the project. You will also be required to help other discipline engineers.
