You will have the opportunity to work across both Greenfield and Brownfield Mining and Oil and Gas projects.

This firm is seeking a MECHANICAL/PIPING ENGINEER. Reporting to the Lead Piping Engineer you will develop, and check piping systems of project specifications, standards and codes.

You and your abilities:

- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree
- Extensive experience in Mechanical/Piping Engineering within the Oil and Gas/Mining field
- Demonstrated HSE performance
- Ability to assist with the submission of proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules
- Responsible for carrying out structural stress analysis and piping supports systems assessments
- Prepare detailed designs, specifications and documentation for mechanical and piping engineering project work
- Prepare and develop 2D and 3D designs
- High capability to read P&ID
- Good quality understanding of pipe support requirements
- Ability to communicate and interface with other engineering disciplines
