Mechanical/Hydraullic Engineer- Staff/Central belt

I am looking for a design engineer who can look after the mechanical/ hydraulic engineering systems and also provide mechanical design engineering support.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following:

- Produce Hand and FEA calculations to determine the stress in various mechanical structures and components.
- Use your engineering design experience to derive satisfactory solutions to customer specification.
- Calculate the required forces and torques to bring motion to your designs if required.
- Guide draftspersons in the production of manufacturing drawings.
- Design hydraulic systems.
- Selecting the required hydraulic valves and appropriate Fluids.
- Attending Sites when required to set your designs to work and test.

Experience required:

- Degree in Mechanical engineering
- Experience with Heavy engineering
- Advantage to have experience with Hydraulics- this includes system design
- Oil and gas experience
- FEA experience/ MathCad also considered
