MECHANICAL FITTER

MY CLIENT, A LEADING OIL AND GAS ORGANISATION BASED IN ABERDEEN IS URGENTLY SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED MECHANICAL FITTER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM FOR AN INITIAL 6 MONTHS.

THIS IS A FULL TIME ROLE WORKING 48 HOURS PER WEEK. 4 DAYS, 4 NIGHTS AND 4 DAYS OFF ROTATIONAL.

FITTER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Assemble and Test Company equipment to a high standard adhering the EHS & Quality policies and procedures in a timely manner. With secondary task to be able to flex between other assemble and test departments.
- Assembly and test of equipment ensuring policies and procedures are stringently adhered to prevent EHS issues which should be carried out in a timely manner as per the work order routings.
- Ensuring that area of work is maintained hazard free and tidy in accordance with 5S principles'
- Producing & updating relevant documentation on work.
- Raising written EHS and Quality concerns.
- Producing quality goods within routing time constraints.
- Also expected to help with housekeeping duties and constant base improvements.

MECHANICAL FITTER SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Previous Mechanical Fitting Experience
- Previous Heavy Lift Experience

- Subsea/Pressure Testing background
- Oil and Gas
- Automotive/Aircraft experience
- Forklift/Slinger
- Driving Licence
