Mechanical Fitter

Reactor Fabrication and installation fitter, working within and too the nuclear regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities:
Work safely at all times, complying with Health and Safety and other relevant regulations and guidelines.
Responsible for the fabrication and installation of large bore pipe work, small bore module pipe assemblies and installation of equipment including valve and pump assemblies.
Working and complying with all Reactor Assembly Procedures and related specifications.
Argon purging of Pipe systems.

The Individual

Qualifications/Experience:
Time-served Mechanical Fitter.
C&G Level 3 or equivalent.
NVQ L3 (dependent on time-served date).
Fabricate and installation of large bore pipe work,
Fabrication and assembly of Small Bore module pipe assemblies.
Installation of equipment including valve and pump assemblies.
Working to control procedures for the disassembly of valves, and pumps and associated equipment.
Demonstrate experience in Argon purging of Pipe systems.
Demonstrate experience of working to grade A&B clean conditions.

Additional Information:
Must be willing to work as part of a team and prepared to work shifts, evenings and weekends if required to do so by the business

The Candidates will require full Security Clearance before they can commence in the business, you will therefore need to be eligible to undergo the security vetting process.
