Mechanical Fitter

The role involves working within a multi-skilled and flexible team for the assembly of Aero gas turbine engines. Experience gained outside of Aerospace for example automotive engine technicians/mechanics will be considered.

Key Deliverables/Duties.
Assembly and dis-assembly of component modules and parts of Aero gas turbine engines. Completion where necessary of appropriate documentation in regard of aviation traceability and standards.

Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications.
Time Served; Indentured Apprenticeship, Advanced Modern Apprenticeship, NVQ 1,2 and 3 or equivalent in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or very similar. Very proficient in a variety of mechanical fitting techniques.
