Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical Fitter is required for on going maintenance position at a facility in Cheshire.

The Mechanical Fitter will join a team of 2 other trades and work as part of the PPM team following schedules, and dealing with breakdowns as required. The work is to start on days for 2 weeks and then go onto a shift program that is 4 on 4 off DAYS ONLY.

The equipment is fairly straightforward, pumps, hydraulics, pnuematics, gears, bearing etc.

The company's operation is similar to an abbattior / slaughterhouse / tannery operation and ideally we are looking for mechanical fitter's with experience of working in such an environment as the role is not suited to everyone and fitters that have worked in such industries will know what to expect.

The role is a rolling 12 month contract and could go pemanent in time, there is no guarantee of this and please don't apply for the job on this basis.
