Are you a mechanical fitter from a heavy engineering background that is looking for a new role?

The company have recently been acquired by a market leading manufacturing company and are now looking for a Mechanical fitter to assist with the daily maintenance of the plant machinery.

The main purpose of this role is to maximise machine productivity and minimise machine down time by maintaining the machinery. You will be expected to have mechanical engineering experience in heavy engineering, welding and milling, this is a day to day varied hands on role which includes daily maintenance activities.

The company are looking for someone on a permanent basis but initially it will be a contract paid on an hourly rate basis.

The person:

*A good mechanical maintenance engineer / Fitter
*Heavy engineering background
*Multi skilled engineer
