Mechanical Enigneer

DESCRIPTION:

- Utilize analytical techniques to simulate aftertreatment performance including efficiency, temperatures, pressure losses and other performance parameters.
- Participate with design engineers to evaluate design what-ifs to optimize system performance.
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Work to continuously improve the accuracy of analysis processes and tools

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS

- MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Related Engineering Field
- Five years industry experience in CFD and heat transfer analysis of heavy equipment and aftertreatment systems
- Experience with Fluent
- Experience with meshing tools, particularly T-Grid, ANSA or Ansys Workbench
- Experience with liquid spray simulations
- Clear verbal and written communication skills

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years experience using Fluent with journal file and UDF programming
- Experience with multi-phase and transient flows
- Experience with assessing muffler designs and acoustics
- C-Programming and Pro/E.
