Mechanical Engineer Project Manager - Luxembourg 12 month contract
Motor, Fan and Shroud applications.
You will be able to understand test reports and talk to the client. You will be expected to travel 3-4 times per month within EU, ie 1 overnight trip.
Electrical engineer is KEY AND Automotive and the below.
Environment: Automotive PTC (Engine Cooling Module), electrical motors, LIN-bus, acoustics, EMC, PWM-voltage controller, plastics injection, 0-defect mass production, cost optimized
Analyze OEM (car makers) specification and system requirement
Write concise specifications for components to be purchased
Analyze technical proposals from suppliers (compliance Matrix, tear down, FMEA, manufacturing line audit )
Create project and validation plans, follow-up validation activities
Hands-on problems solving, parts analysis, define and implement solutions
Manage Customer presentations (In Germain and in English)
Perform reviews, audits and assessments to assure compliance to industry/Mahle Behr quality standards
Education in mechatronics, electro-Mechanical Engineer
Knowledge in project management (Planning/Organizing/Work management)
Knowledge in supplier management
Assertiveness and leadership attitude towards suppliers
Strong communication skills
Analytical, critical and curious mindset
Able to run multiple projects, manage priorities
Taking initiative to get things done on time
Language: English & German required - French would be a plus
Open to travel to customer - supplier (weekly basis)
