MECHANICAL ENGINEER PQM - DUTCH - THE NETHERLANDS, FREELANCE 1 YEAR

For one of our clients in the Netherlands we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer

Your tasks
Working on PQM projects from conceptual to operational level. Projects start with field problems or quality notification problems. Investigate those problems (together with operational/assembly department), analyse the problems (technical rootcause) and then define problem solutions and specify the solution guidelines for engineering.

Working in parallel projects, so multi-tasking skills are necessary.

Department of 20 teammembers working on projects within Tables, Cabinets, MCS/UI and Collimators.

YOUR SKILLS

- Mechanical Designer competency level 4 (VG60)
- Mechanical background, Bachelor HBO
- Working in PQM domain
- Strong problem solver, strong analytical skills
- Background in reliability (six sigma or similar), DfSS
- Knowledgable about manufacturing processes (Galvanize, sheetmetal, plastics, milling, etc)
- Experience with Supplier Outsourcing
- Decision maker based on analysis
- Able to delegate tasks to engineering
- Able to read Dutch (Legacy documents)
- Teamplayer with good communication, convincing and presentation skills
- Energetic, pro-active and hands-on
- Good verbal and writing in English and preferably Dutch
- Pro-E/Windchill experience; wish
