Mechanical Engineer / Piping / Rotating

Would you like to be an engineer in Saudi Arabia? Here is a great opportunity! The kingdom's largest oil company needs a range of engineering skills for major development, construction and maintenance projects, and we are inviting initial applications.

We are looking for skilled, professional engineers. The positions are for initial 12-month contracts commencing early 2013.

In order to be eligible to apply, candidates need to meet the following criteria:

* BA/BSc degree
* at least 5 years' relevant experience
* speak English as a first language and hold a BRITISH passport (due to visa requirements we cannot consider any other nationality)
* can interview in London at the end of November 2012.

You will have thorough experience in the area of steel piping. You will have knowledge of manufacturing sequence, welding techniques, machining of components, and knowledge of piping isometrics drawings. Exposure of material planning, control, preparation of bill of material, raising indents for the raw material is a must.

You will know the operation and maintenance of machines used in piping fabrication, and understand piping drawings. Preparation of Bills of material from these drawings and the ability to plan the work and get the job done by the contractor according to the plan are also essential skills.

Mechanical Rotating: The mechanical engineer shall have experience in engineering of mechanical rotating equipment ranging from pumps, agitators, compressors (reciprocating and centrifugal) to process package units.

The client has indicated that male candidates are preferred and they should not be older than 55.
