MY DUTIES:

- Execution of validation sub-part of a larger project: validation of harp rapping
- Read current reports to get the theoretical understanding and the status of knowledge and knowledge gaps
- Plan the validation of the theoretical aspects of the reports
- Execute tests on the test rig to validate the theory
- Test rig setup and sourcing of parts of it (e.g. impact sensors)
- Modeling as required, e.g. elaboration of mathematical modelling of cleaning devices for heat exchangers in case the current theory is not correct

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in Mechanical engineering and physics - force / momentum / mechanical energy transfer / oscillations etc
- Profound experience in executing complex, multidisciplinary development projects
- Profound experience in oscillaton and vibration 
- Experience in working on a conceptual level as well as on a detail engineering level 
- Experience in heat exchange (both radiative and convective) and boiler design
- Validation of theory with test rigs
- Knowledge of data handling and analysis (potentially semi-automated with tools such as Matlab or Python) 
- English and german language skills  
- Ability to autonomously deliver a technical report with clear technology and strategy recommendations
