Mechanical Engineer Job

MECHANICAL ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT HIRE opportunity with Yoh's client located in Lake Forest, CA.

- Mechanical Engineering
- Verification and Validation

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Participate in the design and development of mechanical components, systems, and products
- Designs, builds, documents and tests mechanical fixtures using Pro-E (Creo)
- Details drawings with appropriate tolerances and GD&T
- Designs, builds, tests and analyzes prototypes
- Writes test procedures, protocols and technical reports
- Support product research to establish and/or verify product performance requirements.
- Development of requirements, detailed product design, performance verification and validation
- Work with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Software and Marketing
- Documentation of specifications, plans, and reports per client's quality system.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Microsoft Office, Pro-E, general lab equipment (such as Instron, OGP Vision System or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering required

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in a FDA regulated environment
