Mechanical Engineer Job

MECHANICAL ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in AVON, MA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Mechanical Design
- Pressure Vessel and Boiler Codes
- ASME
- Valve design
- Solidworks

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide Nuclear Engineering support to F&PT, Nuclear Engineering team.
- Engineer responsibilities include supporting further development of the nuclear program in Avon, along with supporting valve and parts fulfillment for nuclear customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- Three (3+) years of experience in a Mechanical Design role.
- Experience in mechanical design and related manufacturing and quality operations. Control valve or valve design
- Experience with: ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel code Section III and Section IId, ASME QME-1 (Desired)
- Knowledge of: 10 CFR Part 50B, 10 CFR Part 21, Commercial Grade Dedication (Desired)
- Be able to perform FEA (or capable of learning) as well as Seismic and Weak Link analyses (Desired)
- Experience with: Solidworks, Ansys, MathCad (Desired)
