Mechanical Engineer Job

MECHANICAL ENGINEER needed for a six (6) month contract opportunity with Yoh 's client located in Erie, PA. Possibility for extension into 2015. 12 month Max.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Packaging
- Design of Electronic Enclosures

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Design mechanical enclosures for electronics.
- Provide mechanical design input on electronics module design including, but not limited to, connector selection, thermal design, module layout, packaging, and environmental testing.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five (5) years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering
- BS Degree
- Must have significant experience focused on design of electronics packaging utilizing 2D (AUTOCAD) and 3D (SOLIDWORKS) modelling and a proven track record of diagnosing mechanical design issues with electronic assemblies and developing solutions

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with Industrial Packaging Engineering of large mechanical items like Engines and Electronics Enclosures and Structures.
- Vibration Testing
