Mechanical Engineer Job

Yoh has a (12) month contract opportunity for a MECHANICAL ENGINEER to join our client in Portland, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Mechanical Engineer will research, innovate, design, and develop Mechanical solutions at the component and platform level.
- Mechanical Engineer will the design and develop complex mechanical assemblies and platform chassis design.
- Make prototypes through hands on fabrication and will be in charge of supplier management.
- Make proposal drawing from sketches, wiring or schematic drawings.
- Conduct first article inspection, mechanical assembly and tolerance analysis.

MINIMUM Job Qualifications:

- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Three (3) plus years of experience in a professional role ME role.
- MUST have experience with ProE.
- Experience with dimensional metrology including calipers, height gages, dial indicators, gauge blocks, gauge pins, digital cameras.
- Experience with verifying test materials meet governing drawing/specification using available metrology lab, specifically dimensional metrology, environmental lab testing, procedures and safety, and thermal testing of electronics.
