Mechanical Engineer [industrial Designer, Solidworks]

Mechanical Engineer_Solidworks is required to one of our clients, a global IT outsourcing organization to join their client project team based in France

Role Description - Designer - Industrial

To support the design of control valves, validate and verify the plans of valves and related accessories

Essential Responsibilities

- Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Develop product designs to meet the customer's needs
- Make sure that the product design is in accordance with the law, the principles of hygiene, safety and environment, applicable codes and contract specifications
- Identify improvements of existing products, optimized processes and procedures and develop solutions to meet customer specifications
- Participate in design reviews
- Achieve manufacturing plans, checking and approving
- Prepare and approve the Bill
- Update document management systems, plans and procedures
- Know and understand the manufacturing constraints and ensure that the design allows for efficient and optimized production.
- Being the manufacturing support

Qualifications

mandatory French Language.
Proficiency in Solidworks.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in team
Good knowledge of mechanics
Organized, able to make decisions and work independently
Analysis and reflection skills on complex issues
English

Desired Characteristics

5-10 years experience
Experience in the world the valve, pump or equivalent industry
Experience as an industrial designer
Level BTS, DUT or license drawing option
