Global operation requires a Mechanical Engineer from an automotive, aerospace/avionics, oil & gas or other highly regulated industry to engineer and build robust casing units.

The successful Mechanical Engineer will have most of the following:

- A minimum 5 years commercial experience
- Educated to HND/HNC but ideally degree level in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
- Experience of mechanical design of pressure sensitive equipment and or corrosion sensitive equipment
- Ability to mechanically design from concept through to manufacturing
- Good numeracy, written skills for documentation in a regulated industry
- Perform basic structural, stress or pressure calculations
- BoMs and other material specifications
- Liaise with management to shop floor manufacturing in translating ideas to end product

It would be useful if the Mechanical Engineer had knowledge and some experience of a CAD package and design calculations relevant to DNV and ASME standards. Responsible for designing bespoke solutions you will need to be creative in your thinking. Lots of varied work!
