MECHANICAL ENGINEER/HVAC needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Durham, NC.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Project Management- Responsible for the specification, design, installation, and commissioning of equipment, systems and/or facility improvements/construction in support of the business needs of customers.
- Manage, coordinate and oversee development of project design documents.
- Coordinate and review work of all designs and deliverables (drawings, specifications, etc.). Lead team review of designs and document decisions.
- Manage, coordinate and oversee the purchasing and installation of equipment, systems and/or facility improvements/construction.
- Responsible for the commissioning of modified/new equipment and/or systems under the project scope. (60%)
- Responsible for change control requirements for equipment/systems
- Provide consultation for proposed changes to equipment/systems in regards to impacted system interface, capacity and design considerations
- Responsible for ensuring that the CMMS, drawings, ETOPs, etc. are revised/updated as necessary. Ability to manage multiple, diverse projects required.
- Analyze, evaluate and design improvements which meet project objectives for new and existing processes, equipment and facilities with application of cGMP. Must be able to effectively present design concepts to management for funding approval
- Assist in Root Cause Assessments and CAPA Development to operating groups through investigations, control system assessments, and design support. (30%)
- Work with site technical and operations personnel to ensure that business needs and regulatory requirements are met by all equipment and systems

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Minimum of a Bachelors' Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required with seven to ten (7-10) years of project execution and/or HVAC related experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries.
- Must have GMP Experience.
- Must have strong multi-tasking and technical problem solving capabilities
- Must have strong Project Management capabilities
- Must have the ability to lead/manage a multi-functional Project Team
- Must have strong technical writing skills; will be responsible for developing and managing Configuration Change Control Packages, Capital Projects, Deviations and Root Cause investigations/CAPA(s).
