Mechanical Engineer Graduate Interested in Sales

I am currently working with a market leading company based in Aberdeen who are looking to add to their internal sales team with the addition of a mechanical engineering graduate.

This role is specifically for someone with a mechcnical engineering degree and will involve full specific technical training and graduate progression scheme.

Main Duties;

1. Managing quotations and orders accurately and efficiently within agreed timescales.
2. Ensuring the General Manager is kept up-to-date with any orders and enquiries received.
3. Ensuring all enquiries and orders are logged onto system accurately.
4. Sourcing special products from suppliers to fulfil customer's order/requirements at enquiry and order stage.
5. Processing orders with suppliers to ensure agreed profit is maintained at all times.
6. Providing General Manager with data on customers as and when required.
7. Providing after sales support to customers.
8. Answer sales calls and emails in an efficient and time manner and also process verbal sales enquiries.
9. Developing and growing long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.
10. Liaison with Works Department for timely dispatch of goods.
11. Or any other reasonable duties with your skills and capabilities as directed by your manager.

Technical experience with valves and associated pipeline equipment would be beneficical but not essential as full product line training will be provided.

The position offers a competitive salary and bonus package around £23,000 depending on experience.
