Mechanical Engineer - Entry Level Job

MECHANICAL ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in CREVE COEUR, MISSOURI.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Responsible for all aspects of the development from concept through detailed design, fabrication, testing, installation and support of a wide variety of automated analytical research and production equipment. The equipment may range from handheld tools, to benchtop opto-electronic devices, to large-scale, high-throughput automated research equipment, to state-of-the-art agricultural equipment.
- Contribute in the ideation, mechanical design and development of these automated research and production systems.
- Expected to work well within a multidiscipline engineering team and to effectively coordinate with Electrical Engineers, Software Engineers, and Biotechnologists.
- The Entry Level Mechanical Engineer will work under the direct supervision of a senior engineer.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must be currently eligible to work in the US for any employer.
- High degree of mechanical aptitude, and a hands on approach to engineering
- Previous experience with 3D modelling software; SolidWorks preferred
