Mechanical Engineer (2D+ 3D CAD System)

For our client located in Noord Limburg, we are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer with experience with 2D and 3D CAD systems.

Period: min 3 months + extension
Location: Venlo
Project language: Dutch and English

INTRODUCTION:
The engineer works in a multi discipline Team (electro software and hardware).
Together they must build up a Product Documentation Package for ordering and testing of a complex printing machine. All the documentation must be on a defined quality level before start ordering. The documentation is build up from 2D, 3D documentation and the structure of these documents is described in the Bill of Material (BOM). The BOM will be managed in a PLM System (Teamcenter Enterprice).
The engineer is responsible of the documentation and also of the content in the BOM. The engineer must be able to work pro active in a professional team of engineers from R&D, Production and also Service.

POSITIONS MAIN TASKS:
- Create and update Product Documentation Packed. 70% for sheet metal parts and 30% machining parts.
- The engineer creates and updates 2D and 3D documents.
- The engineer creates and updates the Bill of Material information in a PLM system.
- The engineer must be able to work close together with the lead engineer, production engineer and service specialist.

NEEDS TO HAVE:
- HBO mechanical (WTB)
- 2D Documentation
- 3D modelling
- 3D CAD System: PTC Creo Elements direct modelling, Model Manager
- 2D CAD System: Co Create Annotation
- Pro active
