Mechanical Engineer

Research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of current production engines, systems and support processes.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Research production line issues and design solutions.
- Research and analyze design proposals and specifications to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects.
- Day-to-day data management and interfacing with Marketing to define new requirements. Lead those projects to completion.
- Assist with cost reduction projects to support goals. Lead individual projects to completion.
- Provide occasional off-site support of Production build questions as needed.

SKILLS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering required.
- Two to four years engineering experience required.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Clear written and verbal communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability, and creativity.
- Team player and detail oriented.
- Displays attributes of a critical thinker and leverages innovative ideas.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
- Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field.
- Microsoft Office - Word, Excel.
