In a project a new printer will be designed.
Currently a team of 6 mechanical engineers has started the mechanical design for the first prototype.
Because of high accuracy requirements understanding designing according design principles is very important.
This project is also carrier for the NX CAD pilot.
Engineers need daily assistance in learning working and designing with NX CAD.

We are looking for an experienced NX CAD Mechanical Engineer who has experience in working in concept phases with a team of engineers. Experience in designing "in context" in large assemblies is very important.
Most of the parts are designed in sheet metal. Sheet metal experience is essential. Department: DD15.

Position's main tasks:
Daily assistance and guidance of engineers in working in a new CAD system, NX CAD 8.0, be a key user.
Help engineers realizing models in NX CAD.
3D design with approximately 80% sheet metal parts.
The engineer will create 3D models and 2D documents.
He/she will also order prototype parts and must be able to work close together with other mechanical engineers.
Work together with an lead engineer. The lead engineer will be responsible for the design concept.
Support the engineer to realize the mechanical design and construction of a printer module on time.
