I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer with a strong knowledge of manufacturing for an initial 3-6 month contract based in Suffolk.

The successful candidate will be fully conversant with either Inventor or Unigraphics NX CAD packages and have good experience of mechanical engineering within assembly/manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of a range of materials and their use and with tolerances. I also need someone ideally who is familiar with new product introduction (NPI) and design for manufacture (DFM).

The objective of this role is to develop, maintain and ensure continuous improvement of jigs and fixtures for the assembly/production line.
