Mechanical Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide product design and development teams with timely conclusions and best actionable recommendations and solutions
Work to continuously improve the accuracy of analysis processes and tools.

SKILLS:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
MS in Mechanical Engineering or Related Engineering Field
Two years industrial experience in structural analysis, preferably with a focus on thermal mechanical analysis and/or dynamic analysis
Understanding of dynamics, heat transfer, material properties and fatigue
Experience with structural simulations for static, vibration, transient dynamic, heat transfer, boundary and material nonlinear, fracture and fatigue life, bolted joint, and welded structures
Experience with ABAQUS and Hypermesh
Clear verbal and written communication skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or Related Engineering Field
Five years industrial experience in structural analysis
Experience with FE-Safe and I-DEAS/NX
Experience in machine dynamic simulation
Experiences in nonmetallic structural simulation, user defined material behavior modelling, and component interaction modelling
Experiences in machine and structural design and validation
Pro/E skills sufficient for FE model preparation
