Mechanical Engineer

Yoh has a long term contract-to-hire opportunity for a MECHANICAL ENGINEER to join our client in Billings, MT.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mechanical group office lead with the ability to schedule, plan work, scope new projects and supervise other engineers.
- Prepares detailed design of projects in compliance with governing codes, regulatory requirements and Client standards.
- Estimating and scheduling
- Solves problems by using a combination of standard procedures, modification of standard procedures, or methods developed in previous assignments.
- Completes independent studies, analyses, interpretations and conclusions.
- Gives technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Work with other office group leads to share and coordinate the work.

Job Qualifications:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in the petrochemical industry with a strong background in Oil and Gas Production and Refining. (5 to 15 years).
- Experience with pipe specifications.
- Professional Engineering license preferred but not required.
- Experience required in design, specification, application, and modification of rotating and fixed equipment, such as: Pressure vessels, Heat exchangers, Pumps, Compressors, Turbines.
- Equipment drawing review and approval.
